Static residential proxies
Static residential proxies use addresses from residential ISP networks and keep the assigned IP fixed during the rental period. They suit workloads that need a consistent exit environment over time. Network origin and address stability are separate properties; a fixed IP alone does not establish residential origin.
Suitable workloads
- Store and business account operations: Maintain a consistent exit environment for ongoing work.
- Social media management: Save fixed connection details in compatible browser profiles.
- Regional experience checks: Test website presentation and app behavior using available locations.
A fixed IP is one part of the network environment. Account permissions and platform rules still affect access.
Before buying
- Check whether the target service requires a residential network and which location you need.
- Decide how many separate exits you need, for how long, and at what bandwidth.
- Confirm the connection protocols supported by your browser or client.
Check current locations, rental periods, quantities, bandwidth, and pricing on the product page or in your dashboard. A location label from a single lookup does not establish every network characteristic.
Setup and verification
Open the residential product list in your dashboard. Once deployment is complete, select a supported protocol and copy the connection details. Enter the host, matching port, and credentials in your app. Save, verify the exit IP in that same app, then test the target service.
Follow getting started for the full workflow. For ongoing operations, record which IP belongs to each workload so you do not accidentally change an active connection.
Ongoing use
Monitor the remaining rental period and review renewal options in advance. For authentication failures or timeouts, check connection details and resource status before following connection troubleshooting in the FAQ.
