BitBrowser setup
Before you start
Open the proxy list for your product in the IP123 dashboard. Once deployment is complete, copy the host, protocol-specific port, username, and password. Use the proxy credentials, not your IP123 login password. Use the assigned static connection details directly; do not add country, session, or rotation parameters.
Get the client
Menu labels can change between client versions; use the corresponding settings in your version.
Set up the connection
- Create or edit a browser profile, then open the proxy section and choose to modify or customize the connection.
- Select HTTP or SOCKS5 and enter the host, protocol-specific port, username, and password. For text imports, check the field order required by the client first.
- Run the proxy test, check the exit address, save the profile, and launch it. Apply later changes to that same profile.
Save and use
Open https://ip123.in inside the configured browser profile or app, check the exit IP, then visit your target service. A result from another browser does not verify this configuration.
If something goes wrong
For authentication errors, check the protocol, port, and credentials. For timeouts, check the rental status and local network. If the test works but the target fails, check its location, account, and network requirements. See the FAQ.
