Proxies for AI
AI proxies use real residential IPs to provide fixed exits with a network environment closer to a real user for AI apps, model APIs, and Agent workflows. AI describes the product's intended use, not a new address protocol. Check target service and location requirements before buying.
Suitable workloads
- Browser-based AI apps: Configure the browser or profile you actually use.
- Model APIs: Configure the SDK, backend service, or client that sends requests.
- Agent workflows: Confirm that every component requiring network access uses the intended exit.
A proxy provides network connectivity. Model subscriptions, API keys, and account permissions are managed separately by the target service.
Before buying
List the specific services and API endpoints, check their location and account requirements, then review available options on the product page and in your dashboard. Test the actual workload before increasing quantity.
Setup and verification
Open the AI product list in your dashboard. Once deployment is complete, select a supported protocol and copy the connection details. Enter the host, matching port, and credentials in your browser or the process that actually sends API requests. Save, verify the exit IP there, then test the target service.
Follow getting started for the full workflow. SDK requests, tool calls, and external workflows may run in separate processes and need separate checks. API keys and proxy credentials are different and cannot be substituted for each other.
Ongoing management
Monitor the rental period and review renewal before expiry. After updating connection settings, verify browsers and service processes separately. Redact API keys, tokens, and connection passwords when contacting support; see the support checklist.
