iOS / Shadowrocket setup

Before you start

Open the proxy list for your product in the IP123 dashboard. Once deployment is complete, copy the host, protocol-specific port, username, and password. Use the proxy credentials, not your IP123 login password. Use the assigned static connection details directly; do not add country, session, or rotation parameters.

Menu labels can change between client versions; use the corresponding settings in your version.

Set up the connection

  1. Get Shadowrocket from the App Store where available; installation requirements and pricing are set by the store. For another client, check support for your product’s protocol and username/password authentication.

  2. Tap + to add a node, select HTTP or SOCKS5, and enter the server, matching port, username, and password. Save it and select it in the node list.

  3. For an initial check, set Global Routing to Proxy and enable the connection. Allow iOS to add the VPN configuration when prompted. Back up existing routing rules first, then restore the routing you need after testing.

  4. If you still see your local IP, check the selected node, direct routing rules, and other VPN or relay services. Use Proxy Through only if your network needs an upstream connection, and verify each segment separately.

Save and use

Open https://ip123.in inside the configured browser profile or app, check the exit IP, then visit your target service. A result from another browser does not verify this configuration.

If something goes wrong

For authentication errors, check the protocol, port, and credentials. For timeouts, check the rental status and local network. If the test works but the target fails, check its location, account, and network requirements. See the FAQ.
